Fire Island International Vacation Homes

Members of the international Set looking for a vacation home on exclusive Fire Island, NY are smart enough to know they have to qualify their search if they want to end up with the house of their dreams. There are certain rules that can help them in their search. Here are eleven of the most important ones:

1. Be sure you know what you are looking for not only in terms of a home, but also in terms of the type of community you will be happy in.
2. Check out if the community you are looking in has all the facilities you require to help you enjoy your vacation.
3. Make sure that the people living in the community have similar interests and desires in terms of leisurely living and lifestyle.
4. Keep your family in mind. Do your neighbors have children of similar ages? Is your wife or husband going to have the social environment he or she is looking for?
5. Set a realistic price range that you are willing to purchase a vacation home for and stick to it. Don’t forget to adjust for economic conditions and fluctuations.
6. Determine if being less than an hour and a half from New York City is the right traveling distance for you. Are you planning on spending the whole summer, or commuting on the weekends? How about your family, what will they be doing?
7. Don’t sacrifice satisfaction and finding the home of your dreams for price considerations. If you can’t afford to buy what you really want right now maybe you should consider renting to begin with.
8. Don’t allow yourself to be intimidated by people that say you should look in the Hamptons. Fire Island is becoming the new Hamptons except that it provides a less pressured and more laid-back environment much closer to NYC.
9. Be sure you take advantage of a weak economy. It’s all right to negotiate terms.
10. If all else fails forget about the rules and do what your heart and mind tells you to do. In other words follow your instincts. They are what put you in a position to purchase the vacation home of your dreams in the first place.
11. While you are following your own instincts please make sure that you are searching for a Fire Island Vacation Home using the keywords that will get you to the information you need to make an informed decision.

The most important thing is to follow your dreams. Relax and enjoy your search for a summer vacation home of distinction in Fire Island, NY on white sandy beaches only steps away from the warm blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the Great South Bay. This is your chance to kick back and relax in the vacation dream home of your choice. This is your opportunity to own prime American real estate in an exclusive neighborhood at the right price.

How To Get Started Working From Home

The easy way to get started working from home is to start your own blog or Website. Putting up a Website can be a daunting task for a first timer and may cost a fair amount of money if you hire a professional Web master to do it for you.

I suggest a blog, which is almost like painting by the numbers to start. I use Blogspot because they are tied in to google and easy to use. You can chose from a number of others such as Word press if you wish. Just go to google and check out blogs in the search box. You can also do this on Yahoo or MSNBC.

The first thing to do is to decide what content you want to put on your blog. What do you know a lot about that you can share with others?

You can write articles and promote your blog all over the Internet using your blog URL in a resource box at the end of the article - more about how to do that at another time. Don’t worry if you are not a professional writer. All that is necessary is knowledge about a particular product or service and a high school level education in reading and writing.

You can make money on your blog either selling an information product like an e-book or giving your information away and using google adsense to generate income.

Go to google and check out google adsense. They put ads on your blog and pay you when the ads are clicked on. A word of caution, It is best to operate your blog for a while, post some content, and get some traffic coming to your blog before you apply to google to put adsense in. They really do look at what your blog or Web site is doing traffic wise.

To start, decide what you want to talk about, set up a blog, and start writing. You don't have to be a programmer to do this, or to know html. All you need is special knowledge on some subject of interest to people, and the ability to speak plain English.

Working At Home Just Got Easier

A substantial number of people in their fifties and sixties, facing what they consider to be early retirement, are looking for work from home opportunities where they can combine a desire to make more money with the quest for some well earned leisure time.

Fortunately for them working at home has never been so easy. A new generation of Internet based affiliate sales programs are now offering these people from the new middle-aged group the opportunity to have their own free Web site, and develop the content that reflects their own individual interests.

The ability for people to customize their own Web sites is augmented in some cases with the opportunity to utilize affiliate programs, which can provide multiple streams of income by selling other peoples products, but people would be well advised to exercise care in choosing a program. Some offer a lot and deliver little. Fortunately some provide almost exactly what they promise, and in a few cases they deliver even more.

People looking to utilize one of these work at home programs should do their due diligence to discover what other people are saying about the various sponsors of the programs involved. They can do this by entering the package’s name on prominent search engines and checking for opinions.

Besides finding the right program, one needs to analyze what you really want in a work at home business. The questions to ask yourself are: is this just something to keep you busy, or do you really want to make a living working from home. Are you willing to devote the time and effort necessary to start a new business? Most important, you have to decide if there is a real market for the products you want to sell and if you can find a niche that isn’t too crowded?

Always keep in mind that it pays to rely on your instincts and judgment. They will help you make a success of your new work at home business no matter what program or work at home opportunity you decide to pursue.

How To Make Money Selling God’s Stuff

That’s right, there are a lot of ways to make money selling the word of God, and doing His good works at the same time. Is your faith strong enough to help you earn a lot of money in the service of God? Let’s check out a number of ways you can make money selling God’s stuff. It may seem like a miracle when you discover how easy it is to earn money working in God’s way, spreading His word, and doing His good works.

There are a lot of not for profit religious based organizations out there that need fund raisers. In many cases they pay commission, and in some cased they provide a draw against commissions earned. Commissions usually range between four and six percent. Earnings may vary from approximately $25,000 to $100,000 plus a year. You could be making money and doing something for a good cause at the same time.

Many religious organizations conduct their own fund raising activities. A short list of the organizations involved would include:

1. Catholic charities
2. Lutheran Ministries
3. Catholic Relief Services
4. Church World Services
5. St. Jude Charity
6. Christian Children’s fund
7. Habitat For Humanity
8. American Jewish Charities
9. Mennonite Global Communities
10. United Jewish Philanthropies.

In addition to these groups you will also find a myriad of not for profit charitable organizations that are affiliated with various religions organizations such as the Red Cross and the Salvation Army that combined raise billions of dollars on an annual basis to do God’s work. You can help them and help yourself at the same time. Don’t be shy. Contact these organization’s human resource departments and tell them you would like to become a fundraiser for them, and find out how to apply. If you have no experience you might want to start by offering your services on a volunteer basis to get some on the job training. For a searchable database of over one and one half million IRS approved not for profits check out Guidestar.com

Participating in fund raising activities is not the only way to make money doing God’s work. Some people become members of the clergy and or start their own churches from which activity they derive a living. You can become a member of the clergy online for free. You can also start a church online and establish a Website to solicit donations for your church. Check our Pulc.com, Startchurch.com, and Charityadvantage.com for appropriate resources. There are many more. While you are looking them up on google take a look around. The earnings potential here is almost unlimited

Still other people make a living selling religious memorabilia or collectibles such as crucifixes or menorahs. Some work for big companies who manufacture these products, and others have their own retail or online stores. Have you ever heard of Angel Bracelets or faith-based Magic Pills? Check out Personalcreations.com and Danburymint.com as product resources.

A number of people earn their living writing and publishing religious books and articles. There is always a thirst for knowledge about the words of God and His meaning. This is evidenced by a number of Websites that all promote the word of God in many different ways such as Beliefnet.com, ReligiousTolerance.org, and Faith.com? Many newspapers also have a religious or faith or spiritual column. Review what they have to say, put some samples or clips of your writing together, and send them off to the proper person. Whether you e-mail or use regular mail be sure to get the editors name and spell it correctly. This is not the place for something like, Dear Sir. It wouldn’t hurt to ask if there is something you could research for them to break the ice.

In addition to all of the above, promoting major religious holidays such as Christmas, Easter, Passover, and Hanukah through the sale of Greeting Cards, Decorations, and Specialty foods has become big business. This has created employment opportunities for many people both in the manufacture, distribution and sale of God’s stuff. Websites to check out are AmericanGreetings.com, Fabulousfoods.com, and MarthaStewart.com. Salaries in this field although varying widely are known to be above the national average for comparable employment.

You can develop your own resources online by searching on google or yahoo under terms like, religious articles, not for profits, church products, specialty foods, religious charities, and religious Web sites.

If your inclination is to earn a living spreading God’s word and doing good works in His name there are many opportunities to do so. You have to start by analyzing the nature of your calling to do God’s work, and see if you can measure up to what the Lord will require of you. That’s right, it is not enough to use God’s name, you have to believe in what you are doing if you expect to be successful. You will have to have the ability to communicate your feelings for God to the people you come in contact with and are soliciting.

In other words, before a person can make others believe in God, and do His good works, and make good money doing so, one has to have faith in the power and mercy of our common Lord themselves. You will have to believe that what you are doing is moral and ethical and in the best interests of God and yourself and the people you serve; otherwise it would be blasphemous.

How can you expect others to buy God’s stuff from you if you don’t have faith in God and his words of kindness and caring yourself?

Don’t miss this opportunity to work with God and do good works and earn good money at the same time.

Don’t miss this opportunity to build a career in the service of the Almighty.

Don’t miss this opportunity to work for God. Not only will you be rewarded in Heaven, but also you will receive financial rewards right here on earth selling God’s stuff.

Please note that earnings from selling God’s stuff will vary widely depending on the effort and amount of time you devote to doing God’s work, but the potential is there to make a substantial living if you just have faith in God. He does work in mysterious and unfathomable ways, and helping us humans make a living seems to be one of them.

Fire Island Homes – My Home Away From Home

Fire Island residents have been harboring a secret that they don’t want you to know about. It isn’t the type of thing they talk about at dinner parties in New York City, or gossip about with their friends at soccer games for their kids. It is not the type of thing they discuss at school functions for their children, and if they do it is only in whispered conversation to a select few. It is something they try and keep very much to themselves.

The secret revealed - Fire Island is the perfect place to go to for your summer vacation.

That’s right, long-term residents of Fire Island have known for years that Fire Island is the perfect place to go to for your summer vacation, and they don’t want you to tell the world about it.

Just between us friends in our select group, I am going to give you five reasons why Fire Island is the place to be this coming summer. Please don’t tell everyone about this. We don’t want to spoil this beautiful haven that provides us with so much fun and contentment during our summers of pure bliss. You can keep a secret, can’t you?

1. Hidden away on discreet little paths close to the beach and the village are the wonderful and unique homes that provide Fire Island residents with the perfect place to spend their summer’s; just steps from the sandy shores, and the sparkling blue waters.

2. Car traffic is prohibited except for authorized vehicles with special permits on this dream island so you don’t have to worry about car noises or emissions, and you are only a few steps away from everything you could want from beach to quaint village stores and restaurants.

3. Your Island paradise is nestled between the bay and the Atlantic Ocean off of Long Island, New York, and is less than an hour from New York City by car or train. With a home on Fire Island you can avoid spending half of your weekend traveling on crowded highways to get to your destination.

4. This is the place to go if you want to enjoy your privacy and have the opportunity to socialize with family and friends at the same time. You can stay home and barbeque or visit the fine restaurants and nightspots in town. The choice is yours. There is no pressure. This is your casual summer to relax and do as you wish.

5. Many of the residents on Fire Island keep coming back year after year. Many of them own their own homes. Some of them rent year after year. Whatever your choice is, and whenever you make it: you will quickly become part of this special community of people who have the same goals and objectives as you do.

I just have to caution you once more to try and keep this great secret place to yourself. We don’t want the whole world knowing about it, and spoiling all our fun this summer.

Ten Reasons You’re Not Smart Enough To Work At Home

If you are reading this you probably have already made a mess of your efforts to work at home. Please be aware that this is an attempt to tell it to you as it is. This is not for the feint of heart. That is probably why you got in trouble trying to work from home to begin with. This is where you find out what you are doing wrong, and what you can do to change it.

Here are ten reasons your not smart enough to work at home and what you can do to turn yourself into a self made work at home success story.

1. You’re a sucker – That’s right, you fall for every get rich quick scheme that comes along. Don’t listen to that nonsense that you can make thousands of dollars a week doing nothing. In most cases the only one getting rich here is the con artist selling you that get rich quick pitch. Start to use your head and learn to rely on the instincts that got you this far in your life. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. Don’t be a sucker.

2. You’re not computer literate – Join the club. That’s how most people start out on the Internet. If you nine-year-old child or grandchild can operate a computer, and navigate their way around the Internet so can you. Get some free lessons from your kids or friends. You don’t need to know that much to get started. The rest you can learn as you go.

3. You freeze up – Are we talking sexually or when you have to follow a command on the Internet? What did you do when your boss at work told you to do something? Did you freeze up or try and accomplish the task set out for you.

4. You keep reading – And reading and reading. There is so much information out there that it is confusing you. You don’t know what to believe. Start doing something. Experience will win out over reading about it time after time. Take some action.

5. You can’t decide – Is your problem you can’t decide what to have for lunch, or what business to go into working at home? Try and find something that you like to do, something that fits in with your interests and hobbies. Make a decision.

6. What do you sell – Who said you had to sell anything. Maybe you should give your information away and rely on pay per click income or affiliate sales once you create traffic to your site, or maybe you just want to sell the Web site or blog because due to the brilliant information you are dispensing you are getting a lot of traffic. Get some traffic first.

7. You have no Web site – You can find someone to put it up for you called a Web master or you can get an affiliate site to sell other people’s products for very little, or you can start a blog, which you can do without knowing any html. Setting up a blog is as simple as painting by the numbers. Give yourself a voice on the Internet. Set up a blog.

8. You don’t have an address- Do you mean you are homeless or you don’t have a domain name? If it is the former you are going to have real problems working from home. If it is the later you can buy one for a few dollars. First decide what you want to offer. Some people have even set up online businesses working from Internet public access from the library. Stop using excuses.

9. You don’t have a product – You do, but you don’t know what it is yet or how to make it. Somewhere rolling around in your mind is the knowledge to make an information product in the form of an e-book you can sell or give away to get more traffic to get people to buy something else. You are the product.

10. You’re not organized – Now you are starting to tell the truth. Make a list of things you need to do to start your own work at home business. What you need is a plan and some good advise. Would you change jobs without a plan or checking out what you are doing with someone you trust? Get an organizer and use it to make a plan.

Starting to work at home on the Internet is only going to work if you employ the skills that got you to this point in your life to begin with. It doesn’t matter if you are a stay at home parent, a retired Baby Boomer, or recently kicked out of a shrinking work force. Working at home in your own business, you are the new boss. You set your on hours, come up with your own products, and market your ideas on the Internet based on your knowledge, skills, and willingness to learn new things. If you do this right, plan it out, and rely on yourself and sound advise to find the right answers, you will be become smart enough to be successful working from home. Now let’s get started.

What Do I Do Now - I Just Set Up My Blog?

If you show this to your wife or your partner and they say, "The blog looks good. What do we do next?" the answer is:

What we have to do next is to get people or traffic to our wonderful new blog so that we can generate interest either in something we want to sell down the road or information we want to give away so that we can make money when people click on our google adsense ads.

In my case I prefer the idea of giving information away to begin with in order to create a following. I can tell people what I have to offer by using pay per click advertising or doing an e-mail campaign. Both of these cost money.

I don't mind giving information away as long as it isn't costing me anything, but my time so I choose to create traffic by writing articles about my area of interest - guess what that is - and posting my blog address at the bottom of the article (resource box) so people can click on it and come to my blog. You don't need to be a writer to do this. You just need to have an interest in and knowledge of a particular area of interest.

Let's say for example your area of interest is fly fishing.

You could start by saying:

Please feel free to use this article as long as credit is given to the resource box
(C) Copyright Jack Smith, 2008
Keywords: Fly Fishing, Hooks, Tricks, Secrets of
Words: I recommend articles of 500 to 1000

Then write the article about whatever information you want to share with your readers about fly fishing in short to the point paragraphs. I do not recommend you pay attention to keywords at first. Just say what you have to say naturally.

Then end by saying something like:

Hi, this is Jack Smith. If you would like to find out more of my secrets on fly fishing please visit http://jsflyfishing.blogspot.com (There is no www in a blog address)

There are many ways to refine this and things to add, but this should be enough for now. You can hot link your URL with ahref etc, but that may confuse you and most article directories worth their salt do this for you automatically.

Try and come up with a snappy title and using a list of 10 things to do or how to do seven things to help you catch a fish are often good ways to go.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you to submit the article to at least 10 Article Distribution houses interested in fly fishing otherwise no one is going to see it. You can find the lists on google or yahoo groups. This is called making a submission. Don't forget to read their submission guidelines. It takes time at first, but it can really be worth it in terms of creating traffic that will last for years.

A partial list of who I would submit to would include
www.alumbo.com
www.arrivenet.com
www.articlebase.com
www.amazines.com
www.ideamarketer.com
www.ezinearticles.com
www.goarticles.com
www.selfgrowth.com
www.xomba.com

If you have any questions, please post them in the comment section, and I will try and answer them.

Regards,

Arthur

I Can't Believe It - I'm working at home

It is hard for me to accept the fact that I am finally starting to make a little money working from home.

It has taken me a long time, and a lot of futile searching for instant riches to realize nothing happens over night no matter what someone is promising you.

For a long time I thought I could find riches with automatic no work schemes. It didn't work that way for me.

What I did find was that if I followed my instincts and did what made sense to me, I could make a living on line.

I think the key thing is for you to do something that is of particular interest to you. Follow your hobbies or interests. Do something you like to do. Share your knowledge with others. Information products are a good way to go, and easy to produce. How well you sell them or derive income from them from google adsense is a matter of marketing.

You are going to have to learn how to market yourself and your products, if you want to work from home on the Internet.

This blog is dedicated to helping you find your way around the maize of get rich quick offerings so that you can find the opportunity that is right for you.
