It is hard for me to accept the fact that I am finally starting to make a little money working from home.

Information products are a good way to go, and easy to produce. How well you sell them or derive income from them from google adsense is a matter of marketing.
You are going to have to learn how to market yourself and your products, if you want to work from home on the Internet.
